My name is Masciadri Andrea, I was born in Como (Italy) in 1991. I’m an enthusiastic person who loves his job and appreciates spending his free time practicing outdoor activities such as sailing, trekking, skiing and riding the mountain bike! I recently became interested in wood carving; if you are interested you can see some images while I am trying out these and other activities on my instagram profile.
Passionate about science and technology, in 2015 I graduated in Computer Science and Engineering with a specialisation in Data Science at Politecnico di Milano where in 2020 I received a PhD in Information Technology.
My research interests include Data Analysis and Machine Learning algorithms with a special focus to their application in the field of Assistive Technologies.
From 2016 to 2018, I was cooperating with “Fondazione per la ricerca sulla fibrosi cistica” (Cystic Fibrosis Foundation) in the research and development of an image-based software to support an advanced test.
In September 2018 I passed the Italian government exam to obtain the license of profession Engineer – “Ingegnere dell’Informazione“.
From January 2019 I’m cooperating with Arts et Métiers ParisTech, a French engineering and research graduate school, as an external consultant on the research project “Moving on Music, Together”. My activity includes the HW and SW design of smart devices.
In 2019 I received a temporary research assistant contract (“Assegno di ricerca”) at the Assistive Technology Group (ATG) of Politecnico di Milano, collaborating in the development of IoT innovative solutions.
In 2020 I co-founded LYOTECH SRL, a company included in the register of innovative start-up of the ministry of economic development and accredited as Politecnico di Milano spin-off. LyoTech designs and develops innovative systems with high technological value to monitor the well-being of fragile people.
Currently, my work is focused on the identification of Behavioural deviations (Drift) of the elderly and people suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. You can continue reading about my activities following this link.
